Wardrobe Architect Week 4: Building Silhouettes

This week's Wardrobe Architect exercise focuses on silhouettes. While last week challenged us to define the shapes and lengths of the garments we love, this week focuses on the overall lines and proportions achieved when combining those pieces.

Sarai suggests creating outfit formulas -- that is, combinations of pieces/ shapes that you can easily be replicated or modified.  These are blank (but personalized) templates that can be embellished with color choices, texture, and accessories to feel fully you. I used Polyvore to build my silhouette formulas, and although this collection isn't exhaustive, it's a good start. I focused on Fall/ Winter silhouettes, although in San Francisco these are really applicable year-round give or take a sweater and a pair of tights. I'm still working on my Summmer/ Spring silhouettes, which I should really just refer to as my "vacation" collection.

Note: I was focusing on shapes when building these silhouettes, so most of the items are not particularly ethical (except for those good old AG jeans, of course).
